　　多文本閱讀為生活中常見的閱讀任務之一，為完成此任務讀者需要在不同文本間整合訊息進而獲得整體的理解，而在這樣的歷程裡讀者對於理解的監控應有其重要性。本研究主要目的即在探討國小六年級學童理解監控與多文本閱讀理解的現況與性別差異、並檢視理解監控與多文本閱讀理解的關係。研究對象為屏東縣四所國小六年級學童共177人，分別以團體施測的方式實施理解監控測驗及多文本主題先備知識測驗，再進行多文本閱讀理解測驗。將所得資料以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、Hotelling’s T2考驗、皮爾森積差相關分析及階層迴歸分析等統計方法進行處理。　　根據資料分析結果，本研究的主要發現如下：一、國小六年級學童理解監控的

整體表現以及偵測外部不一致錯誤和內部不一致錯誤偵測的表現皆為中等程度，偵測詞彙錯誤的表現則略低。二、國小六年級學童多文本閱讀理解的整體表現和各理解向度的表現皆為中等程度。三、不同性別的國小六年級學童在理解監控和多文本閱讀理解上皆無顯著差異。四、國小六年級學童的理解監控總分、偵測不同錯誤類別與多文本閱讀理解總分間有顯著的正相關；理解監控總分、偵測不同錯誤類別與多文本理解各向度間，也都呈顯著的正相關。五、排除性別和先備知識後，理解監控整體表現對多文本閱讀理解整體有顯著的預測力，可解釋多文本閱讀理解10%的變異量；理解監控整體表現對多文本閱讀各理解向度也都有顯著的預測力，可以解釋的變異量介於3% -
