本論文之研究方向主要為5G室外基站之雙極化天線設計。首先提出一天線其操作頻率可涵蓋第五代新電信 ( Fifth Generation New Radio, 5G NR )中所提出的 sub-6 GHz 頻段n77 (3.3–4.2 GHz)、n78 (3.3–3.8 GHz)。此天線設計使用同軸電纜 (RG402)直接饋入。利用交叉擺放兩對偶極子天線在兩層基板上,並在上層基板上埋入外圈的迴路天線,藉以提高該天線頻寬以及產生良好隔離度、交叉極化鑑別率以及提高前後比。提出天線一之整體尺寸為50 mm × 50 mm × 19 mm,接地面大小為100 mm × 100 mm,其量測電壓駐波比(V

SWR) ≤ 1.5 阻抗頻寬為28% (3.28–4.35 GHz),隔離度(Isolation) ≥ 20 dB,0°之交叉極化鑑別率(Cross Polarization discrimination, XPD) ≥ 26 dB,增益(Gain)為7.5–8.25 dBi,前後比(Front-to-Back Ratio, FBR) ≥ 26dB,半功率波束寬(Half Power Beam Width, HPBW)則是73°± 7°。接著為了因應各國所使用不同的5G頻段,本論文提出第二支天線可完美覆蓋5G sub-6 GHz 中的n77 ( 3.3–4.2 GHz )、n78 ( 3.3

–3.8 GHz ) 以及n79 ( 4.4–5 GHz )。提出天線二之設計為交叉擺放兩對偶極子天線在同一基板上,與天線一不同的是,天線二使用耦合饋入,不需額外埋入寄生元件即可提高天線的操作頻寬,而天線二在設計時只使用了一層基板,因此大幅度降低了製作上的難度。提出天線二之整體尺寸為36 mm × 36 mm × 25 mm,接地面大小為 110 mm × 110 mm,其量測 VSWR ≤ 1.5 阻抗頻寬為47.6% (3.1–5.04 GHz),隔離度 ≥ 22 dB,0° XPD ≥ 25 dB,峰值增益 6.6–8.3 dBi,FBR ≥ 25 dB,低頻部分(n77、n78)之半功
