台灣古董自行車的維護與修復：倫理選擇和執行方案

本項案例來自於雲林科技大學人科二館入口附近一輛閒置已久的自行車。這輛自行車長年放在公共開放空間，經查證之後，已查獲誰是物主，物權歸屬等資料。物主認為此自行車具有歷史意義和集體回憶，因此把自行車捐贈並停放長期於此，好讓物件展示出當時台灣自行車工業發展及當時台灣人的日常交通工具的形式。此案例因長年停放於公共開放空間且又沒人照顧，全車佈滿灰塵以及受到不同程度的腐蝕，而車架與坐墊下更是佈滿粉塵和蜘蛛網，輪胎也因洩氣失去胎壓而被車身重量壓扁。皮革座椅也因台灣潮濕氣候關係而佈滿霉菌。而在博物館領域中，有許多交通工具相關展品展出，但甚少有完整的記錄，更不用談到修復論理的層面上。因修復工程大多由技師執行而非

修復師。作者使用真空吸塵器除塵，針對腐蝕選用了物理性清潔如使用牙刷、鋼絲刷、鋼棉、硬橡皮擦等，化學性清潔有使用RO水、肥皂水、75%酒精、WD-40、自製大英博物館皮革用保養油等，針對車身上不同部份的情況進行處理。並於物件表面塗上微晶石蠟作為預防性封護材料。最後採用可逆性的方式於前輪輪軸上加上螺栓，連結臨時駐車架，預防輪胎再因失壓而變形，後改用木材訂制專屬前輪駐車架作長期展示使用。本文內容以修護整輛自行車為前提，從除塵去鏽以及修復倫理的選擇來展開實際可執行的維護與修復。關鍵字：自行車，維護，修復，去鏽，倫理
