ization for parts suppliers in the European AA, this thesis develops a digital marketing and e-commerce concept, which strives to satisfy different customer needs and avoid channel conflicts and over distribution. The conceptualization is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theo

retical part follows the structure of a marketing management process. In this context, implications of the Internet and the online distribution on the offline marketing dimensions are highlighted, in order to develop digital marketing guidelines for a B2B-e-commerce channel. These guidelines are dis

cussed from the perspective of parts suppliers and serve as a base for the implementation to the practical part, which includes an industry case of a German parts supplier in the European AA.Firstly, the thesis highlights foundations of e-commerce and digital marketing, and secondly, presents future

digital implications on the sales strategy of parts suppliers. Thirdly, theoretical guidelines for the suppliers’ multi-stage e-commerce concept are developed, where multichannel strategy and the focus on customer experience emerge as core objectives in digital marketing.
