臺中市市區公車使用多卡通讀卡系統，乘客上下車皆須刷卡，有別其他都市使用單次刷卡與單一電子票證方式，可以同時獲得乘客起點與迄點之搭乘資料，透過分析公車電子票證資料所包含的各項資料，使各交通區之間至各站之間的乘客流動方式更清晰可見，配合市區公車使用電子票證十公里免費的利民政策來刺激乘客的產生，增加民眾使用電子票證搭乘公車的意願。本研究利用公車電子票證資料分析出現況公車與旅客個人旅次之資訊，包括票種、業者與路線特性，找出運量最高的幾條公車路線，從中取得公車尖離峰概念的資訊，亦可詳細分析出卡片持有者個人之交通行為，找出各個旅次特性。公車乘載率分析本研究先以VB-ADO資料庫處理程式整理資料，再撰寫M
ATLAB三維陣列資料處理程式，以精簡的程式即可計算某公車路線一天內各車輛、各趟次、各站區間車上旅客人數，並以圖示方式加以顯示。乘客人數變化情形代表該趟次車公車擁擠程度，圖形顯示即可清楚掌握擁擠區間與時間，可作為公車業者排班之重要參考。公車電子票證資料對於使用者而言，可找出大眾運輸旅次特性，更可透過資料觀察出個人選擇公車路線之模式、即時路況分析；對於營運者而言，可用於路線績效之評估，供需分析；對於政府部門而言，可應用於相關監督管理工作上，例如服務評鑑、營運虧損補貼路線行駛狀況之稽核。

因早期網路頻寬問題，許多跨國企業會將人力資源資訊系統的資料庫放在該設廠國家，以致於後續企業總部對於人員資料需要進行彙整資訊以提供主管決策資訊參考時，這些資訊的取得是相當困難的。因此，本研究擬朝向跨國企業資訊彙整為方向來建置整合查詢平台。另一方面，基於早期台商因應中國工資低而選擇在中國設廠，但隨著中國在2010~2012年間工資逐年上漲，許多企業紛紛選擇遷廠，轉往東南亞等國家設廠；在遷廠過程中，企業需要對員工支付一定的資遣費，因此本研究擬以資遣費計算為案例來建置跨國企業整合資訊查詢平台。採用PowerBuilder結合EAServer共築N-Tier架構，搭配Oracle DataBase為跨
國企業建置整合查詢平台；在企業總部架設整合查詢平台，使企業總部可透過此平台計算並查詢預估資遣費用。本研究採用購物車概念，使用者只需進行下單動作後即可離線，所有資遣費用試算處理皆由系統自動化運算處理，待系統處理完畢後再通知使用者至系統進行相關表報列印處理，大幅簡省人工作業處理時間。
