【目的】：臺灣即將邁入超高齡社會，高齡者不僅成為許多公共政策中的利害關係人，也有許多以高齡者為主體的政治組織相繼組成，高齡者的政治影響力與日俱增，然而過去有關臺灣高齡者政治參與描寫的文獻非常稀少，因此了解臺灣高齡者的政治參與情形，以及影響因素，是重要的課題。過往文獻將政治參與的影響因素大致分為社會人口及政治心理因素，本研究企圖藉此探討高齡者政治參與的型態與影響因素，並進一步與非高齡者比較，凸顯高齡者政治參與的特殊性，也為臺灣政治參與世代差異的研究提供一些新的視野與方向。【研究方法】：本研究為次級資料分析，所使用資料為王光旭（2019）接受行政院科技部補助之專題研究計畫（MOST 105-26
28-H-024-001-SS2）之資料。該次級資料共計回收1,330份問卷；分析所使用的題目涵蓋社會人口學變數（主觀社會地位、社區類型、社區參與、社團參與與每日接觸人數）、政治心理學變數（政黨偏好、政治興趣、公民意識、政治信任與政治效能感）、慣常性政治參與及非慣常性政治參與，以及重要的背景變數，並使用SPSS 22.0統計軟體進行分析。【研究結果與建議】：研究結果如下：一、高齡者對慣常性政治參與及非慣常性政治參與都很消極，社會聯繫偏弱，政治興趣、公民意識與政治效能感偏低；二、高齡者慣常性政治參與及非慣常性政治參與皆顯著比非高齡者消極；三、社團參與、社區參與、政治興趣及公民意識是影響高齡者政治
參與的主要因素；四、社區類型、社區參與及公民意識對慣常性政治參與的影響與政治效能感對非慣常性政治參與的影響會被高齡與否調節。基於以上研究發現，本研究提出以下建議：一、推廣高齡者參與社團活動或是社區活動，以及政府可舉辦社區政策座談會或公民審議活動，提升高齡者參與政治活動的動機；二、鼓勵高齡者參與體育、文化、科技或學術的推廣活動，並教育高齡者資訊設備的使用方式，讓高齡者有更多管道可獲取政治資訊或反映政治意見；三、保障言論自由，降低高齡者對政治參與後果的不安全感，創造有利討論公共事務的氛圍。

臺灣於2018年轉為高齡社會，預計2025年邁入超高齡社會，隨著國民平均壽命延長與少子化影響，導致臺灣人口高齡化的趨勢，而在高齡者面對居住安排的轉變同時，是否能夠同時擁有幸福感，已成為人口高齡化重視議題。本研究主要透過老年人選擇三種居住安排(獨居、與配偶同住以及與家人同住)型態，以及個人特徵、健康狀況、社會參與、社會物理環境與不動產所有權等因素，探討其對老年人幸福感之影響。並以高雄市與屏東縣65歲以上老年人做為調查對象，並由研究者親自發放363份問卷，發放地點包括台糖公司屏東區、高雄市區公園及其周遭街巷、高雄市社區大學與社區關懷地點，實際有效問卷共計357份，有效回收率為98.34%。本
研究採用次序羅吉斯迴歸來分析影響老年人幸福感之因素。實證結果顯示教育水準、宗教信仰、自評健康狀況、社會參與、社會物理環境滿意度、不動產所有權、居住安排對老年人幸福感具有顯著影響。老年人選擇居住安排型態以與配偶同住為最幸福，其次為與家人同住，最後為獨居。過去文獻多以個人特徵、憂鬱與孤獨感作為影響老年人幸福感之研究重點，本研究結果顯示社會參與、社會物理環境、不動產所有權與居住安排對於老年人幸福感亦具有重要之影響。
